What to Expect
We pride ourselves on being one of the friendliest churches in Richmond. We want you to feel at home, so please feel free to park in our first time visitor’s section and attend a visitor’s reception after morning worship. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about the church to give you a picture of what the Village of Faith looks like week to week and hopefully address issues important to you.
WHAT IF I'M NOT USE TO ATTENDING CHURCH?
No problem! We work to make sure that you will find our church to be a comfortable place. We want you to know that we recognize that no one is perfect and each of us is at a different place in our spiritual growth. We won't have you stand to tell us your name or embarrass you in any way. We do have a three “hug policy.” Our Greeters and Gatekeepers will give you hugs to welcome you to the Village. We hope that you find our church to be a place where you can have your questions answered in a non-threatening atmosphere.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
At the Village we know that life gets pretty complicated. Church shouldn’t be. Please dress in what you feel is casual and comfortable. You will see many people who wear jeans and you will see some in slacks and others in suits. You wear what’s appropriate for you.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We have an incredible Children’s Ministry! Before worship begins feel free to check your children into KIDZONE and know that they will be in an area that is engaging and informative. Oh, and it is FUN too!
CAN I INVITE MY FRIENDS?
Please do. We want to be a welcoming faith family that encourages you to reach out and bring new people with you.
WHAT KIND OF CHURCH IS THE VILLAGE OF FAITH?
We are a Bible based, Spirit led family church. We are a non-denominational, multicultural church that focuses on every area of family life.
